Sounds like the switch itself ,.....or a bad ground which you already covered . but sounds like the switch
D R L = daytime running light sensor
the D R L is labeled just that and resides under the hood of the vehicle black diode
Oops forgot to add under hood in fuse box hope this helps

Hello. Check the ground wire to these lights. Trace the ground wire to the frame, disconnect and really clean that spot on the frame back to the bare metal and then reconnect. Regards, Joe

Checked ground wire. Still have same problem.
Low beam lights have been checked and are OK.
Replaced the switch and still have the same problem
Also scanned. No body control codes.
replaced the headlight switch
Where is the drl sensor located?
