Yes I beleive it is located under the fuel filter.
Should look kinda like round heating element. But you have to remove the filter to see it.

I have a 2000 f350 and when you turn the knob to change from floor to vent or defrost nothing happens its stuck on defrost what do i do

If it is a diesel, replace the vaccum actuator/pump under the hood. looking at the motor, its located to the left between the battery and the fire wall. If your wondering if you have the right part. Follow the vaccum line into the heater box to make sure. Hope this helps you.

Wheres the fuel heater an glow plug

The fuel heater is inside the fuel filter canister, in the bottom, the glow plugs are under the valve covers. The wiring is part of the valve cover gasket so be careful to check those the connections they tend to burn up. The gaskets are reuseable if the connectors are good. Check the wire connectors over real good inside the valve covers too.
