Take it into the dealership and have them fix it anyways. You will probably get it done for free, since Toyota is trying to avoid a mass wrongful death lawsuit.

I belive the recall is only throttle by wire cars. you probally need to clean the intake where the butterfly is. get some carb cleaner and spreay the area. you can also use wd on the cable that may help as well

My toyota camry 2003 has low idle and stops when I stop for a traffic light. I just changed my battery

Sometimes a low battery or dead one can erase idle parameters in the computer memory. Also for 2002 to 06 the electric throttle position sender at the top of the gas pedal is very slightly adjustable. Loosen the nut and see if there is enough slot there to bring your idle up a hair.

My 98 Toyota Camry V6 LE has 120,000 miles on it and runs great. However, lately I have noticed it sputters ever so slightly on the highway. right about 60 MPH. If coasting or accelerating it is fine. ...

Being that you have a 1998 Toyota Camry, these cars are fuel injected and shouldnt need the gas pedal depressed to feed fuel to your engine. It's possible you may have a dirty fuel pump or dirty injectors. Here are some possible steps (cheapest in $) so follow these in order to spend less money.
- Run some Lucas Fuel System Cleaner (green cap bottle), do two treatments of that in your gas tank and see if that makes a difference. Dirty lines and clogged injectors are caused by cheap gas and or constantly running on Empty thus allowing fuel pump to pick up sediment from bottom of gas tank.
- Sputtering could also be worn spark plugs (too big of a gap) and or faulty spark plug wires or both.
-Timing chain issues usually occur if you hear a constant vibration near the top of the engine.
-Transmission issues would be having trouble putting the car in certain gears, or the transmission stick does not sit in gear properly (slippage).

Just some suggestions that may help with your problem.

No problem, but concerned about recent news of clutch sticking and car traveling at 100 miles per hour. Is there a recall on this? Or do you have some particular advise? We have a Toyota Camry 2009.

you are probably thinking of a master or slave cylinder going bad making you unable to disengage your clutch.( very unlikly on an 09 ) even if this happened, you stiil have control of the gas pedal, and could pull the shifter into neutral as a last resort, im almost beting you heard this in traffic court
