I have a 2000 BMW 740IL, I noticed that during the winter time (when the temp is below 40), when I start my car, not all the system engages properly (like the radio,poewr steering) and also the breaklight comes on and remains on. After driving 20-30 miles, if I stop the car and restart again, all the system engages well and breaklight goes off. What could be the problem?
Check the terminals that contact the bulbs, make sure they are clean and making good contact, also if make sure the assembly isn't a knock off version, a lot of the cheap unit use very cheap tin and doesn't serve well as a conductive unit.
