How to reset service light on a 58 plate Seat Ibiza. Car has had full service and was not prepared to pay Seat dealer double but what they tell me is its a two second job, but will not tell me how to do it. Will not be buying another Seat. The vehicle is was new in Aug 08. Cant find Seat on product list, so had to List a VW. THE SOLUTION I AM LOOKING FOR IS SEAT IBIZA

You should stop the CD Player from button. The car has no problem but it notifies you that the Car Stereo was on.

some relays are in or near the fuseblock.. some are behind the glovebox.. some are under the hood inside a control box..the dealer service can tell you for your make and model..

could be a bad abs sensor or speed sensor

lost track of R reg on uk plates remember having a E plate and it was a 1967 ford zodiac but if this is one of the newer models then firstly check the connection socket in the back of the unit if it appears ok then its dealer only ,you could have faulty earth to the unit or another problem and as this vehicle if its a newer model then its using encrypted software which is dealer only type job

reduced power messge is not caused by oil pressure. i assume this a 3.0L v6. this engine has a electronic throttle body which is a electric motor that operates the throttle plate that takes the place of a throttle cable. in cold weather the pcv (positive crankcase venelation) system accumulates moisture that will form on the throttle plate, in cold weather the water freezes and causes throttle plate to stick. when the ecm detects any malfunction whithin the throttle control circuit it is put in to reduced power mode that limits throttle position. usually resets after ign. is cycled. there is a service bullitin to re-position pcv hose behind throttle plate to reduce moisture bulid-up on throttle plate. your saturn dealer can perform this service.
