Sounds like a ground problem . Do you know anything about automotive electrical circuit's ? Do you know what a wiring diagram is ,how to read one , use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ? Reading factory service repair info. on how these systems work would be a good idea also . But the main thing would be to look at wiring diagrams to see if these thing's share a power or ground supply . You look at wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html Enter the vehicle info year , make , model an engine size . Under system click on body & accessories ,then under subsystem click on instrumentation . Click the search button then the blue link.Scroll down through the diagrams an note all grounds , wright them down . Find the diagrams for all the affected systems an wright down ground #'s . Watch these video's on electrical testing .

SOURCE: 1997 grand prix gtp. Tire pressure/abs light

Hello! This indicates a fault with the wheel speed sensor/ABS sensor. Any major auto parts retailer can pull the details of this code (which sensor) for free, which will help you identify if the wiring is loose or damaged or if the sensor will need to be replaced. If you need to replace the sensor - you will need to replace the entire wheel bearing assembly, as the sensor is internal.

98 grand prix dashboard lights wont come on

I had a similar issue to yours recently. The PKG LIGHT fuse was out in the fuse block under the hood. I had no running lights, no instrument panel lights and rapid dinging when I open the door like an indicator of the headlights being left on. It is a 20AMP fuse in slot 37. There should be another fuse in one of your "spare" slots. Hope this helps.

Sounds like it is misfiring.
Try changing the spark plugs and you MUST run premium fuel.

1999 Grand Prix GTP. Catalytic convertor fine.

Make sure it always gets premium fuel...even with premium and especially in warmer weather the GTP will frequently perform the factory programmed KR (knock ******.) In WOT it is also more susceptible to running a lean condition with stock programming.
Things you can do to troubleshoot the problem and give more consistant performance with the GTP is run colder range copper core plugs and/or any brand of cold air intake, or even a stand alone 9" open element cone filter. Both are better than stock and provide more airflow even though the stock airbox was redesigned in '99. What else you can do is not limited to that but a start. Good luck.
