Flywheel/flexplate broke on 1998 Isuzu Rodeo, need diagram.

Flywheel/flexplate broke on 1998 Isuzu Rodeo. Local shop fixed it for me, but said when I got a rebuilt tranny put in 4-5 months ago at a different place out of town, they only replaced 3 bolts, and not all 6. They ones that were in there were installed in an every-other bolt fashion, which is very suspicious. I'd like to find a diagram of a transmission, because the shop said the flexplate is completely encased, and there's nowhere to the bolts to go if they did manage to wiggle loose or something. I would also like to know how easy it is to reach the flexplate after the transmission is installed, if it is very involved and you have to remove the tranny all over again, or if you can reach it by hand without much problem? Any help is much appreciated.

I have 2000 issue rodeo flywheel cracked around center driving bolt are still in flywheel outside of flywheel completely separated what would cause this

too much vibration/stress on the flex plate.

many different things could have caused it,
incorrect torque on the flywheel bolts...
bad thrust bearing in transmission...
up to "you got the one lucky flexplate" that had stress fractures during manufacturing.

Broke a nub off a cooling system plastic pipe behind the alternator along side the engine. There are two nubs with hoses, the front one broke. I can't find a good diagram or name of the part.

Its called a radiator by pass pipe. Mine broke too! It's L shaped and has two nubs on it. One is small and the other is larger. You can't get it from a local parts store. It's an item that has to be ordered from a dealer. Costs about $100.

1999 RODEO PROBLEM WITH FLYWHEEL

Replace the dial pins in the back of the engine block. This aligns the transmission to the engine. It has fixed a lot of them. Sometimes they will come out when the two are separated and the mechanics put them back together without them. This will result in a cracked flywheel.
