I have a 1993 ford F700 and was wanting to change cabs and was wanting to put a crew cab on it but was not sure if all full size ford pu cabs are the same size as the the f700 cab in width such as the fram width and what years would be the same type of cab as the 1993.

I can't find anything on a F-350 crew cab, from 1985. According to www.Edmunds.com there is no such animal. The F-350 crew cab only goes to 1990. It could be an issue of the website not going back that far, too.

there is a few sizes for your model truck. Any Ford parts department can help you as long you give them the serial number of your truck. That will tell what size it is

check your trans fluid it could be low. it could be that one of your gears in your trans is going out or a trans mount

The horn location is on the radiator support.

I have a pickup that this happened with. I just had to look underneath, find the dangling shifter linkage and plug it back in. Make sure the hardware is there and doesn't look stretched.

I had the same problem,tried everything,I thought,till starter went out.Put new starter in,now fires right up.It takes 200amps to start and found out on web u can't stay on ignition more than 6 seconds or will burn up starter.I had orginal starter on my 94 so it was time,also change air filter,fuel filter regularly.
