Chevy has three ways of turning off the oil light. The first is rather easy. If you open the glove box and look in to see if there is a button for your reset. If that is not there then when you open the driver door look to the panel and see if there is a door there. If there is pop the panel off and look for a red reset button. You have to push it like 6 or 7 times to clear the light. If all that fails then get into the car turn the ignition to the on position. pump the gas pedal 3 times and then hold it down. The light should flash and stay on. Turn the car back on, the light shoul be off. Good luck.
If dash digital display bring up oil life display than press the check symbol if standard dash turn key to on position not start than press gas pedal three times start truck should reset if not-- repeat process
