I'm pretty sure that there is no electronic devices around the cabin filter. The only thing that might be making that noise is the little door that keeps the filter in place. Make sure its closed in properly
you might possibly have an electical short in the drivers side door, look for moisture entering the door panel by taking off the interior panel, and looking for blown fuses in your fusebox
I have a 2007 IS 250 and I am completely in love with my car. The inside is very plush and the overall feel is of QUALITY. Lexus is high end and they live up to it in this car. The engine is buttery smooth and silent and has plenty of power. The paddle shift is cool on the freeways and hills and the looks I get in the car are great too. Unlike the Euro counterparts, which are also nice inside and fun to drive, the Lexus will stay running and cost you much less in repair cost and agitation. I have had Audi and BMW in the past and I can safely say that I will probably never drive anything other than Lexus from now on.
