Fuel pump not working on my 97 chevy blzer - 1997 Chevrolet Blazer

could be a bad ignition module or a computer problem
or something as simple as a stopped up fuel filter

Bad fuel pump, fuel filter, it may not have enough pressure or you aren't getting spark

97-2003 are the same pumps on Chevy.On the GMC Jimmy truck,4.3 is also 97-2003.

Check for plugged ctalitic converter

im not an expert but my chevy s-10s fuel gauge didnt work for like a year! and my fuel pump just went like a month ago replaced it and voila i have a fuel gauge again!

fuel might be thickening -try an anti-gel or other fuel additive-also get fuel pump pressure checked

Change fuel pump relay.And check the fuses

When it stops, does it have spark? (crank sensor)

You have to drop the fuel tank. It is inside. Hope the tank is near empty, remove the 2 fuel fill hoses, you have two straps, lower tank, remove 3 wire connectors, and several more lines. Please use an ac delco fuel pump module. It may come updated with a new wiring connector to fix the old ones problem. If it does, you have to rewire the van following the directions.
