Have you checked the HT leads? The main lead from the coil - take off a spark plug lead and plug that into the coil insted and see if you can get it to spark to the engine, if it will spark with this lead then the main lead is bust. also...There is a condenser on the ignition, it prevents the spark from going anywhere but the plugs, if this has failed you will have a weak intermittent spark - heres what it should look like (attached to the distributor or very close to it) - http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php?catalog=233&partnum=84UX&a=UK233-84UX - click the "i" button to get a bigger pic - make sure yours is properly connected before you get a new one. It's incredibly cheap so may as well replace it + its 21 years old and counting and probably the only original part of the ignition.

I'm having problems with a 2002 Chevy Blazer 4.3L not turning over after changing the plugs

Check the firing order. If you took all the plug wires off at the same time, then there is the problem. Back firing out of the intake is a sure sign the firing order is wrong.

2000 blazer , every once in a while it wont start... let sit sometimes 30 minutes sometimes 2 days and it starts. Put external fuel pressure gauge on... B4, when key on... gauge shows over 60 lbs. when it...

Hi:
The fuel pumps on the Chevy blazer and their full sized trucks are prone to failing, as I had to change mine on my 1996, and yours is the same model .
Ours started off intermittently dieing, then failed all together. If you have matched up the fact that you have no fuel pressure when your blazer won't start, then the fuel pump is the most likely suspect. As you know, they are not cheap, and the fuel tank is not difficult to remove, but needs to be close to empty to make the job managable. The tank is over 3 feet long, and is better removed with 2 people if you can find help.

I need to know if 1983 full size chevy blazers had an optional big block put in them.

The Chevy 3/4 and 1 ton trucks had an opion for a 454, The  Blazer did not but I suppose it could have been special ordered with a 454.

Wont run

Try checking those sparks again. It could be a weak spark not enough to start your engine.
Make sure also that you have fresh gasoline, as gasoline or diesel looses it's effectiveness after a long time.
