I am trying to replace the headlight bulb on 2006 mercedes c230 sedan. i have located the bulb, but not sure how to take out? i dissconnected the wire harness and now i see the bulb intact with a black plastic piece with 2 screws and a metal retain clip. Im not sure if you pull bulb straight out? twist out? un screw 2 screws and pull black plastic piece out first and then take bulb out? any help would be great thanks alot
If its like my old merc its the spring clip that need pullingvto one side 1 pice of it sticks in a small hole thats if its like mine

If there are only partial images and some are blank, the unit itself is failing and requires replacement. There is no "fix" for this kind of display using LCDs. Try Silverstar recycling in CA and can be found on the internet. They carry all kinds of good stuff for Mercedes/Porsche at resonible prices and will ship.
