About 35-50 miles, never exceed 40 MPH
Spare tires are meant for temporary use only. However, it also depends on how much/often you drive. If the vehicle is a daily commuter to and from work, you will not want to drive on it for too long, however when spares are driven on for long periods of time, they will slowly begin to deflate - this is both normal and okay, so long as the tire is in good condition. Simply put air in it to the specified indications on the tire - and do try to get your full size tire fixed or replaced as soon as you can. If you have any further questions, please let me know.
