My 2005 ford focus making screeching noise!

Could someone please help me? My 2005 ford focus is making a screeching noise. Had a new transmission put in soon after that drove it to gas station still making screeching noise went to turn car on the radiator literally exploded. So the car has a new transmission and new radiator. Car is still making noise. What causing it to make such noise?

It's weird that your car is making a screeching sound even though the transmission and radiator have been replaced recently. Neither of those things has been replaced in my Subaru Impreza, but it's still making a similar sound. It gets worse when it's cold outside. I'm going to take my Subaru to an automotive repair service to see if they can get rid of the noise. Maybe that would work for you too. http://experttrans.com/services/

My ford transmission is slipping. was rebuilt 5 years ago.

5 years is a long time and you don't mention how many kilometres you drove since the rebuild. These transmissions, like any other automatic, need the oil and filter changed on a regular basis to avoid untimely demise.

Cabin noise while car is moving

have the engine mounts checked as they may have failed and the rubber is no longer insulating the engine and transmission from the cabin.

Just had new clutch fitted on 02 ford focus 1.6 now making noise but stops when i press clutch down

A couple of things comes to mind, when you press the clutch you disengage the transmission. When the clutch is not pressed the transmission still spins inside even when it is in neutral. Sounds like a bearing inside the transmission is making noise, did they put fluid back in the transmission? Also another common source of noise is the throw out bearing, it is on the input shaft, it is the actual part that presses against the clutch pressure plate, usually though they make noise when the clutch is pressed and quiet down when released.

2005 ford focus makes load noise when heater fan is on???

Maybe a stray leaf, twig or other small object has been sucked into the ventilation duct, touching the centrifugal fan.
You need to pull off ducts around fan and inspect.

I have a 2005 ford focus and am having transmission shift problem

No movement in any gear: pump failure, R&R, To check for pump failure, check fluid level with the engine off, then start the engine and recheck fluid level. If level does not go down when engine is running, the pump is broken.

Front pump bushing walked out. R&R. May have to replace converter also if hub is scored. Note that a leaking front seal usually means the bushing is walking out (i.e. call your local trans shop and schedule an appt.).
Loud bang, grinding sound, loss of all gears, and a binding driveshaft: snapped output shaft. Try to wiggle two end driveshaft (inner CV joint) - if more than 0.020" play, that's the sign. R&R.
These are just some of the things that could have happened to your transmission, regardless your going to have to have it sent in to a transmission shop for a repair, and grinding noise indicate a hard part is broken and not electrical issues.
Try not to run the engine or move the car or further damage could result. Good luck and thank you for using Fixya

Loud screeching noise coming from car after stops.

the screeching noise is most likely caused by a slipping belt or pully. transmission probably needs fluid and filter changed.

Engine runs loud at certain speeds

It sounds like someone has been rough on the car. Your transmission may almost be shot, or you need a flywheel repair kit. If you get a flywheel repair kit, you can save your transmission. A flywheel repair kit is cheap. But a transmission aint cheap at all.
