Check all your fuses - the fuel pump takes its power from a fusible link under the bonnet, check these "big fuses" -
Check the fuses under the dashboard too - check them all -
a few different fuses could cause similar problem so you'll have to go through them all one at a time.
try this first.
the fusible links have a clear plasic cover, they are coloured blue yellow red or orange or green, bright coloured fuses with clear "windows" on the top, you can see the fuse inside and it should be shiny, if it is black inside this link has blown and needs to be replaced with one of same rating for continued protection against fire,
I gave you that info after going through the entire schematic for the car, finding that the fuel pump, gauges and some minor components all get their power from a fusible link under the bonnet and from several different fuses running secondary circuits (such as the fuel pump relay) under the dash, any one of these blowing will switch off the gauges and fuel pump so instead of giving you the details of each fuse that could have blown I told you to check them all - otherwise you will have about 4 pages of directions to read which will make the fuse checking process take even longer than just going through them all one by one.
