How to remove the clock from a Vitara R reg? The clock has suddenly 'gone dead' - no light or life. No other electrical faults so doesn't seem to be a fuse. I'd like to get the clock out to check it over and, if needed, fit another, but my Haynes manual makes no mention of how to remove the clock. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you. Howard.

I personally do not currently have the removal instructions for the clock but I do offer a repair service for these clocks. Let me know if these instructions help!!

This is a common problem among on some of the Japanese automobiles (Suzuki Vitara included) that have seen some time in service. The clock module becomes intermittent or dead after a few years of service. To remove the clock yourself and have it professionally repaired, you can contact Dr. Clock at www.subaru-clock.com for a speedy fix.

Better check the battery as it sure sounds like its dead. The charging system could be at fault also A brand new battery can run down and need a charge if the charging system isnt doing its job Hope this helps you .Good luck!

Wont start,not fuel problem

hi , i think i have the same problem as you, my engine light flashes and i cant get fuel through the injectors but i have fuel pressure and spark. try these two links which might be helpful, the first explains about the mitsubishi ecu used in your vitara, basicly saying they're **** and break down quite early in its life and the second explains how you can run your own diagnostics test using a paper clip and counting the number of flashes from your engine light, you then compare this to the chart on the web site to find your problem.

mitsubishi ecu site www.carelect.demon.co.uk/mitind.html
self diagnostic test www.btinternet.com/~j_holland/pages/diag.html

hope this helps you out, karl hodder

Clock and radio

If your clock doesn't work, it is probably because there is an internal fault within the clock module, itself. This is a common problem in many of the Japanese models - the Toyota Matrix included. The clock may be intermittent or have a dead disply.

If your Matrix clock is dead or intermittent, you can remove it yourself and have it professionally refurbished by Dr. Clock. He offers a lifetime warranty and does top-notch work.
