1999 dodge ram 1500 2wd 5.2L gives different intermittent codes

1999 dodge ram 1500 2wd 5.2L gives different codes intermittently, TCC one time, Crank Position Sensor once, speed sensor once. All sensors replaced, still get check engine, ABS and parking brake light intermittently. Possibly PCM?

Under your battery in the pan your battery sets in is a Battery Temperature Sensor 9 times out of ten this $15.00 part is your culprit. Remove your battery unhooking the ground cable first.pop out the old fifty cent piece sized sensor and unhook the wiring connection carefully "it's a 99" as to not damage and connect the new sensor and pop it in to place in the battery pan. Reinstall the battery connecting the positive cable first and then your ground. Some of your codes will take several miles or minutes of operation to cycle out, so go for a drive, but you will clear your, let me guess .. o2, cat, evap?, code failures. good luck and let me know how it goes ok?

Code 15 on 1988 ram 150 without vehicle speed sensor

Code 15 relates to a failure in the vehicle speed sensor circuit. The job of the vehicle speed sensor is to inform the computer about the speed of the vehicle so the computer can calculate engine load and prepare the engine idle speed control system while the vehicle is decelerating. On deceleration, the idle speed control system will allow additional air flow into the engine as the vehicle rolls to a stop. Usually code 15 will be accompanied by erratic speedometer readings (or no reading), erratic AT gear shifting, TCC lockup clutch instability, and intermittent or complete failure of the cruise control.

I believe that there is an electronic relay between the ignition switch and the solenoid on the starter that is causing your intermittent starting problem.

I got a code readout of P1391. What does it mean for a 1996 dodge pickup with a 5.2L engine?

The Engine Control Unit continuously receives information from sensors on the cam and crank shafts. This code indicates that there was an intermittent loss of signal from one or other of these sensors due to a sensor fault or a loose connection. If the fault persists the ECU will loose track of the relative position of the crank and cam and this will give rise to erratic engine firing. Try thoroughly cleaning the contacts within the electrical connectors to these sensors and see if this resolves the issue.

the best advice i can give you is bring it into a warm garage and let it heat up, then treat your fuel with anti gel solution run it through your injectors by running engine and this should not happen again, seems like your lines are gelled up and you don't have proper pressure.

TACHOMETER WORKS INTERMITTENT

Do you have engine code showing by chance? It's possible the crank sensor is bad or the connection to the ecm or pcm to the instrument cluster circuit board needs a look. If you need schematics check out www.promanuals.net they specialize in Dodge Ram service manuals.
