Sounds strongly like a fuel pump. have some one go under the vehicle while you are cranking and bang the fuel tank with their fist. it may trigger it. if it does, this is 100% confirmation.

Fuel pump failure. Have someone open your gas cap an listen closely while you try to start the car. Your listening for a buzzing noises, if no noise pump has failed, very weak noise not enough pumping pressure to start the car. All 'n All "FUEL PUMP FAILURE"
No ,there isn't a fuel cut off switch on your vehicle . Ford vehicles have that ,not GM . Do you own a voltmeter ? Test the electrical circuit's before replacing parts . GM Fuel Pump Relay Testing
Kelly, could be a few issues, security lock out, crank sensor, fuel pump fuse/relay, faulty new pump,faulty ignition switch, etc. Attached links may help you diagnose the crank no start issue you are having.

There are 2 relays in the relay box that could cause this problem the EEC relay and the FUEL pump relay the best test for EEC relay back probe the throttle position sensor for the 5 volts reference signal run engine and watch to see if you lose this voltage. and fuel pump relay install a fuel pressure gauge to fuel rail service port and check to see if pressure drops to zero.
The first thing i would check would be the fuel pressure, the gas being sold now a days eats away at the fuel pump and makes varnish build up in pump causing the pump to go bad.
A fuel pressure gauge is needed for this test, it connects to the fuel rail and give you a reading and i would bet there is no or very very low pressure.
Had friend put OBD diagnostics to it and error code indicated fuel pump ????? No code indicates replacing any part . Indicates testing ! pressure and flow testing , voltage drop testing the electrical circuit etc... There is a check valve in the fuel pump assembly that is suppose to keep pressure in the fuel lines an fuel rail . When the check valve goes bad allows fuel to drain back into the tank. Try turn the key on an off a few times to build up pressure . The PCM energizes the fuel pump relay for two seconds at key on .
check fuel pressure on fuel rail beside the intake. if pressure is low then your fuel pump or fuel filter needs replaced. or just as simple as a fuse check all fuses
check your fuel rail for pressure, there should be a valve on the the fuel rail, you can take a pen top, or something of that nature and press it on that valve, and fuel should come out if it does not then you are not getting any fuel pressure, if that is the case check the the fuel pump relay, or it may be the fuel pump itself.
