I have a replacement 06 Range Rover door mirror that I need to fit and it is not immediately obvious how I get to the 3 nuts that secure the mirror - can you help?
Is there three plastic caps about where the bolts re or does it have the little plastic trinagle cover over the corner of the mirror?
try prying gently on the plastic triangle it should just pop right off or snap off with plastic snaps once the cover is off you can get to the bolts. You can also remove the glass Mirror it snaps out by grabbing it on each side of the mirror and pulling it off and you may be able to get it from there. This is in case you can't get the plastic triangle to come loose. Be careful not to puncture the small speaker. The glass Just snaps back into place. Hope this helps.

To get the mirror out/back, you can put a screwdriver in between the outer edge of the housing and the glass. There is a plastic tab that needs to be pushed inwards to allow the glass and holder to be pulled out/pushed in.
The bolts to remove the mirror entirely are behind the triangular plate on the top inboard corner of the door. It just prises out.

Hi, I am replacing the whole mirror case. It is on an 06 car so it is electric with a puddle light. I am trying to work out how to remove the cover on the inside of the door (it incorporates a little speaker) because behind that will be the 3 nuts that hold the whole mirror on the door.
Thanks
Hi,
Yes, I am replacing the entire mirror. I have bought a complete mirror that should just bolt on. It is an electric mirror with a puddle light on an 06 Range Rover. Thanks
From the replacement mirror I can see that there are three nuts that hold the mirror on from inside the car. They are hidden behind a plastic triangle that also holds a tiny speaker. It also seems to be connected to the window/door seal trim and I cannot see how this all comes apart.
Are you replacing the intire mirror or the glass itself? is the Mount danamed? Is it a manual or electric operated mirror?
