Hyundai coupe ABS warning light

The warning light was on and off intermittently as re; my last question. But went over a bump last night drove and it went off, Drove 7 miles still off. 10 mile journey this morning. still off! Could it be down to grit on the wheel sensor? Should I still get it looked at 2moro, or is it safe to wait and see if it comes back on. Car and brakes feel fine.

Found out this was a "spoof" mechanic apprentice playing a joke on me. Not funny when it involves my safety and brakes. Think you should vet your respondees !!! Very disappointed in your website. Thought I would be able to rely on experts!!!.

2006 hyundai elantra running starting no problems drove it to town last night turned it off tried to start it again it would crank but not start no compression start either. please help

No compression may mean the timing belt has broken or slipped.

ABS warning light remains on in my car from the last few days. It initially used to come on when i drove on the motorway and exceeded 60mph, but now it always remains on even if i drive at 5mph..what could...

Have them check the wheel bearing first, the ABS sprocket is on the inside of the wheel part of the wheel bearing assembly and the sensor is there to.It would be a early warning for a wheel bearing problem.

My Hyundai Coupe 2ltr SE (2000) has been well maintained, my pride and joy!! But yesterday the warning light for ABS came on mid journey(7 miles) then went off. Today it was off at start of same journey...

it could be problem with any sensor of abs of any wheel, it as not a major problem , dont worry check with technician.

2003 Hyundai Santa Fe ABS light is on along with TCS light

you may have damaged the ABS sensor or wire to the sensor up front check the wire that runs from the inner finder well and make sure it connected to the ABS sensor on the spindle

I had the same problem. Abs light would come on and I would lose all dash instruments. Hit a bump on the road and abs light would go off and dash would come back on. What I did to fix problem, lol I slaped the dash just to the right of instrument panel and it all came back to life. There seems to be a short there, and I slaped it back 3 times in a week and now for the last month it has stayed on.
