There is a sensor on the dashboard that controls this and its likely that the sensor is bad. but most vehicles have where u can turn your headlights on manually.
There is a box right above the flip down fuse panel. This is the lighting control module and these units are prone to failure. Take your middle finger and you can reach past the fuse box and feel a flat plastic flat surface. This is the lighting control module. Though there is an official test for this module most techs just tap on the module with the lights stuck on. If the lights shut off and you hear the module click. The points inside the module are broken. Good luck finding one. They are made of un-obtainium. (Meaning no one has them and no company has reproduced them).
