Warped rotor happen for a couple of reasons, first is someone who rides there brakes down a hill instead of pulling it out of overdrive, second is someone who is used to riding their left foot on the brake pedal, third is coming to a quick stop and going to fast type driving.
if you've replaced the rotors you should know there are three types that are sold the lowest price rotors about $20.00 each are not the thinkness of your originals, then the price goes up to the mid grade, then there are the best which are original thickness,
the thinner the rotor the faster it will heat up and cool warped.
Im thinking your calipers are used to being in the outer extension of the piston stroke. when that happens sometimes moisture can set in and oxidize the piston surface. then when you shove the piston into the caliper to clear the new pad l stick to the walls of the bore to much presure on the on the pad. next time you replace themget the preloaded caliper and pan and your good to go. this happens a lot to 1997 GMC sieara`s the LTZ
Driving habits and part quality definitely play a role. But did anyone care to mention that the caliper(s) could be bad? Or a rear brake might not be functioning? My rear brake wasn't working on one side (clogged line) and caused the rotor on the same side in front to warp. Good luck.
Stay away from the autozone (imported) rotors
2 things will cause this issue: 1 you may need to be paying more attention to where your feet are, especially if youre used to driving a stick, or 2 cheap rotors. cheers
