My 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport's remote door locks don't work. The fuse is good, and it worked now and then. There was a clicking sound in the passenger door when the remote was used for a while, still not unlocking the doors. Now I don't hear anything. Is there something in the door that works with the remote key fob? Also, the auto lock switch on the door panel dosen't work. I have to lock the doors manually. Any help is appreciated!!

My diagram is also not there and it's not listed in the owner's manual. I did a search on net and came across this service manual on Ebay. I bought it, arrived in 2 days and it is filled with more information then I will ever use to repair my Jeep. This is a great manual on CD. for $15.00 Here is the link to check it out.

Hi i have Cherokee sport 2001 and central door locks not working, at the same time all passenger windows cannot be open only i can open from driver side console. few days back all the door locks start

Try unplugging the passenger door module from the wiring harness. Module may be bad. I see one screw holding it with tabs at the other end. You should be able to pull it up without removing the door panel. I see there are modules online for less than $40.

2001 Jeep Cherokee sport. Power door lock won't

Lock and unlock both run off the same power supply...I'd be looking for a bad switch or a broken wire in the door harness where the wires go through the rubber boot between the door and pillar.

1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. The front left

Try the hazard switch.Do all the blinkers work? This may be a loose connection to the lamp. The window and lock system are on seperate circuits so very unlikely they are related. There is a seperate relay for the blinker and hazards,so a single blinker not working is either bulb or wiring.Widows are operated by motor so check the fuse, wires and and actuating switch. (Door trims off). Also check its not just jammed.Locks, check fuses, switch wires for damage or looseness and the actuator is working.Check the actu. rods are not loose are bent.(need the door trims off for this).Quite a few different things but hope this helps

Power window/power lock problem

its very possible that the main driver switch has corroded and it not making good contact. I had a 1999 jeep sport cherokee and if I wiggled the switch in the drivers door at night ( as to see the switch illuminate ) it would flicker there for show it wasn't getting power all the time. If I held the window switch or pressed on it a certain way the door switch that would not work would then work. I hope this helped you? Those door panel switch get corroded and do not make good contact, there for lose of power..
