2002 Chrysler Town & Country Mini-van
The illumination (lighting) on the Home Link and Door buttons (Left, Right & Hatch) no longer lights up. I checked through the manual but it doesn't show anything for it. Took the van to a service center and I told them to check the fuses and they said they are all good. I was there for an oil change & tire rotation.
Do you have a diagram for how I can replace the light for that area? I would appreciate any help!
I've never heard of anyone fix the LED lights. When they go, there gone. Just replace the overhead console. It's eazy to replace the console. Th console just pops down. No special clips. Call the salvage yards for one around $35..Get the warranty from the salvage yard Do Not Buy AS IS. Make sure to remove the negitive battery cable before removing. the console. Eveything unplugs eazy from the console
Update these lights can be replaced on the Evic/Otis remove the phillips screw towards the windshield using a NON magnitic phillips screwdriver. Pop the panel down by grabing the Evic on both sides & wigging it. On the back side of the Evic unit theres a small white bulb that needs to be removed by use avery small flat Non magnitic flat headed screwdriver. The blub screws out counterclockwise. Go to the dealer to get the blub first from the parts department.

I had the same problem on my 07 and it turned out to be caused by the bulbs getting too hot and melting the surrounding plastic which opened the circuit powering them. I was able to fix the problem by removing the bulbs and cleaning the sockets allowing the bulbs to seat correctly. The lenses snap off to give you access to the bulbs. If you are not familiar with how interiors of cars come apart, I would not suggest doing it as you may crack the lens.

Probably too late but I had the same problem yesterday. Try changing your battery. It sounds crazy but it worked for me.

I very gently pried on the outer curve of the clear cover. It snapped out easily. Then I noticed it only clips in to place on the left and right side of the widest part of the cover. I was then able to simply twist the bulbs out socket and all.
SOURCE: CHRYSLER town and country mini van turn signal/flasher
I have a 2005 Chrysler T&C. The turn signal would not work at all or activate incorrect side. The switch is easy to remove as described by dukecityman.
Once the switch is of, it has four screws holding it together.I took this apart to find that there was a circuit-board which was contaminated with dirt. wiped it of, put it back together, working fine.
If you take it apart use caution. there are parts on the "top" which will fall out. ( they go right back in) The circuit-board is on the "bottom" half. You really only need to take this part off. (less moving parts)
Your going to replace it anyway, whats the harm?
