Assuming you have an aftermarket stereo with a display, it should have instructions for wiring the backup camera. You usually have to splice into the backup lights positive wire and run a jumper to the stereo. The stereo may have power for the camera as well as the signal wire. If no power wire, it may have a switch wire. If just a switch wire, you will need to run accessory power to the camera. You will also need to connect the camera ground wire to the frame of the truck. Read the instructions for both the stereo and the camera carefully.
What wiring method are you using, did you buy the adapter harness, or cut all wires and joining one at a time, or other method? Do you have info regarding what each wire from car harness and stereo are for?
Go to Wal-Mart and buy an install kit for your make and model of vehicle, they also sell wiring kits that reguire no cutting or splicing of factory wiring.

I hate to do it, but have to ask, who did the install? Chyslers have that floating ground set-up that has thrown even the best install guys into a fit. When I was doing them, I overcame that with aftermarket installs by running my own separate wires to speakers, and back to stereo. There are adapter plugs that are good for that available too.
glad you posted what colors you do have , cause 2 resources didn't match ,actually 3 , i did find a match to your colors was a 97 year model premium radio, so we have a match .....

If you want to do this the Correct way, Go to www.Schoche.com and Put your cars Info in and it will tell you which Kit and Harness to Purchase. Wal-mart carries these and may have the ones that you need. So, After you look them up call wal-Mart and check. Cheaper this way Also!
If installing Toyota radios/CD Players they just plug in regluar sockets in vehicle.
If installing Non-Toyota radios/CD Players youll have to buy a wiring kit from Wal-Mart/Circuit City/etc it would have the wiring diagram in it.
You can't hook it up like an aftermarket stereo, but there is a piece of equipment (cannot remember what it is called right now) in which you can hook regular speaker wire up to it and it converts it into an RCA jack connector.
