2000 jeep cherokee limited dual heat one side only blows hot air

You will have to check the flap operating controls behind the centre consol as anything could be wrong from a vacumn pipe to a operating mechanism ,even the computer controlling the climatic control .

I own a 2000 jeep grand cherokee limited...I only get cold air coming out of the passenger side heat, driver side works fine...I think i need new blend doors.. Here are the fault codes i am receiving and...

Do you have dual zone control on the heat a/c control? It's been my experience that is the first thing to go. The blend door is more of a problem between blends, Like bi-level (defrost and floor etc..)

My 2000 jeep doesnt heat whats wrong

Heating problems are very frequent problem with G.C.
However, the root causes are not necessarely the sames.

First, do you run a 4.0 L or 4.7L
Second, is your vehicule equipped with dual zone air control (driver side and passenger side controlled independently)
Third, does you temperature gauge needle in your dash indicate very near to 100 degrees C or 195 degrees F when the engine reachs its normal operating temp.
Fourth, does it heat a little bit or nothing at all
Fifth, what is the average wheather temperature in your living country

Please provide these info and we will try to help you.

Cold air passenger side, warm air driver's side

same thing happened to mine at 2 yrs. old , the connecting arm on air mix positioner broke. The whole dash had to come out. Part was cheap but labor was huge. This is not a job for the do-it-yourself.

2000 jeep limited grand cherokee the driver gets heat hot, but the passenger side gets cool air. why?

Broken blend door assembly inside the hvac housing. The recirculation door frequently breaks too. The dash has to be removed and a/c system discharged to perform repair.

01 jeep grand cherokee limit driver side air warm

You have the blend doors problem which needs to be fixed. At jeep it is about £1300, by EDM in bicester it is £255 and maintains dual control. I would imagine the recirc dooe is or soon will go as well.

2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4.7 V8: Has dual

hi
there is no recall from jeep (there should be) your blend doors are damaged or broken. jeep will quote you around £800 to fix. log on to heatertreater.net they have a diy quick fix that will last the life of jeep. you can install the new blend doors that are metel (not stupid plastic ones jeep use) in around half an hour, this really does work as i have installed a few of these kits with no problems.
hope this helps

Jeep heat problem on one side

this may just mean that you have the dual A/C control on, if so you will see that the two temperature control knobs are set at different temperatures, just set them to the same temperature

Heat/ac not working on 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited

look for Main A/C relay, look for fuses, or go to a/c shop and have gas check out, perhaps leaks, perhaps evaporator, perhaps condenser, but start for relay box on front passengers side, or fuses on same side
