RX300 2001 - anti slip light keeps coming on

RX300 2001 - whilst driving the anti slip light constantly keeps coming on, doesn't matter if I’m driving round a bend or in a straight line it can happen at various speeds - even during acceleration and when it's on it bleeps like mad and prevents any acceleration, sometimes whilst it's bleeping it forces the car into braking heavily which has nearly caused several accidents. It has recently had two new front tyres as I thought this could be causing the problem, but since the new tyres it now seems to be getting worse and now I think it’s pulling to the left and the steering wheel is out of alignment

SOURCE: brake pad pulsating

Possible causes- low spot on the rotors. Caliper pins not sliding with pulsation. May not need to replace pads.

I have a 2010 Pontiac G6 the anti lock keeps coming on but I can still start my car and drive it. How do I get the anti lock off? I mean it’s my car and I have the key for it every time I drive ??

Anti-Lock BRAKES, or Anti THEFT system?

Antilock brakes (ABS) you need a garage.

Anti-theft system, are you using the key you have always used. A Valet key only open doors. If the anti-theft light comes on and you can still drive it, you need an auto-electrician or a new vehicle.

Dashboard symbol meanings

the anti slip braking is coming on is controlled by the out side air temp sensor. when the temp is around 5c to 0c it will come on it advances the abs. and drive. if your out side temp sensor is giving a false reading then it will keep coming on and off.

My 99 grand am anti break and traction warning lights come on for no reason and kicks off my cruise...doesn't matter if I have traction or not...any ideas?

Yes . Most likely one or more of the wheel speed sensors is faulty and needs to be replaced. If these are faulty the ABS will not work and you will get the ABS warning. These should be checked first.
Then the anti lock braking system pump should be checked to ensure it is operating. If it is not you will get the ABS warning.

My 1999 ford explorer makes a squealing noise when I start it up until I push on gas or proceed to move...it will also occassionally make this squealing noise as I am driving..any Idea what this could

The squealing noise you describe is usually from a slipping belt. The belt tensioner may be faulty and not keeping the belt tight enough, the alternator is charging and putting a load on the belt when you first start the engine. If the belt squeaked constantly I would say the belt is glazed.

Is the RPM gauge and the transmission connected for a 2001 chevy impala? The Anti light brakes and traction control light turn on. Now the transmission does seem to shift properly and the RPM gauge moves.

Anti lock brakes and traction controls will light if there is too much tire pressure differential. That mean a low tire turns more rpm in a mile than a full tire so it constantly thinks it is slipping in either /both taking off or braking... Tire pressure is important. Check it!

Low coolant light keeps coming on and its not keeping anti freeze

this is a common complaint, GM/Buick recommends you remove the sensor from the radiator side tank and replace it.
