Take it to any parts store and they will do it for you for free, there are three types, the rocker type which you have to raise the wiper arm away from the glass then pull the tab up then slide the wiper down and slide the wiper off the wiper arm. but the best thing is have someone show you how to do it for the first time sometimes they can be tough to get off.

I own a 2000 and 20001 Grand Cherokee and resolved the rear wiper issue only by replacing the wiper arm. Grime and gunk and salt all contributed to a weakened spring and too tight a hinge. All my efforts to lube arm hinge and tighten/adjust the spring produced unsatisfactory results.Replacement will return your rear wiper blade performance to "as new".I hope to save you wasted time and effort and $$$. How do you troubleshoot wiper blades on a 1995 Jeep Grand cherokee?

First check the wiper fuse then check the relay by turning wipers to on position and listen for the relay to click if it clicks its good.If they are good then turn the ignition and wiper switches on and check for 12 volts at the wiper motor. If you 12 volts then the wiper motor is faulty.Replace motor.

How to take off the rear windsheild wiper on a 94 grand cherokee

You will need a 13-inch wiper blade for the rear window. 1 - When removing the wiper blade lift the wiper arm away from the window. ----- 2 - With one hand holding the wiper arm press the small tab on the underside of the wiper blade where it meets the wiper arm. ----- 3 - Slide the wiper blade off of the arm by pulling the center toward the bottom of the arm.----- 4 - Lightly lay the wiper arm on the window.----- 5 - Prepare your new wiper blade by taking the curved part of the plastic clip and line it up with the curve of your wiper arm. ----- 6 - Lift the wiper arm and press it through the center of the wiper blade up and over the plastic clip. 7 - Pull the wiper blade up until it clicks. Place the arm back on the window.

I have a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee and need to find the right size rear wiper blade. The arm hook is small (I believe it said 9mm??) and the wipers I've tried in the past do not stay attached. Please...

This year and also 2004 grand cherokees have this problem because you are getting a blade for an 02, this wiper blade must be gotten from the dealer. theres something about the design of it that holds it on. i will bet if you go to the dealer and buy one that you will not have a problem.also the price is not bad.good day.

my 95 was a pain in the @ss as well.... i unbolted the arm from under the hood, put a frest coat of flat black spraypaint..... then reinstalled the blades with the new wiper....much easier, cleaner, and might as well paint the rear one too..... or do what i did and leave it off...

How to change rear wiper blade on a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo? I bought a reagular replacement blade but it appears that a special blade is needed. I think the plastic arm piece on the wiper arm...

Hi,
Yes, the wiper is a two piece wiper. Can not be bought at Walmart.
One piece is bolted to the Jeep. The other section has the wiper attachted.
You have to get this at the Jeep dealer or on line. The complete wiper assembly is about $38.00 or $17.00 for the wiper, with the broken tip.
I have a 2006 Grand Cherokee and that happen to me also.
