1999 ford f250 super duty 4x4 will go into 4

Check your fuses then check the bulbs themselves.

Probably a Bent axel I had had same problem

2x4 or 4x4?

most likely the pulse vaccum hub solenoid. or a vaccum leak at the hubs

take off the fender bolts and the wheel well bolts take out headlight bolts behind the headlight then it should come off

remove brake caliper, rotor, axle nut and four bolts on the back side of the knuckle

If it is a 2 wheel drive, it is probably your wheel bearings. If it a four wheel drive, it could be the front differential, the joints on the axle shafts, the locking hubs, or the wheel bearings. On the four wheel drive, crawl under the vehicle and grab the axle shafts and see where the excess movement is. Also try grabbing the tires and see if there is any movement. There shouldn't be any movement while the wheels are on the ground.

while in drive, engage the 4wd then shift into neutral for 2 or 3 seconds and shift back into drive. it works for my ram.
