Car Battery Specs

Need to have correct, cold cranking amps (525 cca) or higher. Dimensions length x width x height the same or smaller is ok. Larger may not fit in tray or have clearance with hood. Then the fact its top post battery. The other numbers mean exact size for oe fit.

1991 Explorer not starting

Hello;
Boy the cold weather has wreaked havoc on batteries. Get a new battery. 525 cca seems a bit small, I would put in a higher cca battery just for peace of mind. After you install it, make sure the charging system is working properly.Hope this helps.
Thanks;

1994 BMW 525 Battery

Look on the passenger side at the firewall and fender junction.   In the attached picture, see at the lower left side.  You need to remove the black plastic battery cover about 9"x7" located there, then you'll be able to see how the battery restraint works if you need to remove.
The title says 1994 525, and this is where tha battery is for '94, probably in the same place '91, if not look for a 10"x7" plastic cover elsewhere in the engine compartment.
