If the heat is working in the back seat than it should work in the front. Check to see if the temp control knob is actually turning the shaft on the valve They have been known to slip.

My 1998 Ford Explorer Defrost Heater isn't blowing any air to the defrost Is this a fuse?

If your front blower motor isn't working on any setting, could be the blower motor itself, the blower resistor, or sometimes the wire pigtail to either one could be the problem.

Rear Floor Vent heat only

Sounds like your heater coolant hose door flap is broken or loose. May want to check behind the heater controls, if your components are mechanically operated. If electronically, may need to perform more troubleshooting before replacing this component.

My rear heat dont work in the 2003

In vehicles with Front and Rear heat or Air there is a split line that goes to that Rear Air Box unit. With I mean by that is instead of just going to the firewall to the front Air Control there is a split at that line that runs all the way to the rear unit. Check the 5/8" line that runs to the firewall and locate the vacuum control that most likely runs a smaller line to the rear of the vehicle where the rear Air Box is located. Make sure that control is working and getting vacuum, this actually may be electronic if you have separate controls for front and rear. If the controller is opening and closing properly check for kinks or blockages of that smaller line and check your fluid level to make sure you have everything at the proper level. During summer operation you may have lost fluid from the radiator to to overheating or evaporation if you you didn't have the proper mix of anti-freeze in the system. If the radiator is low you can get an air bubble that will stop the flow of hot water to that rear unit.

2002 econoline ac front heat rear is problem. Plenty of ac in the front but heat blowing from bottom vents in passenger rear of van.

Heat and a/c is controlled by a vacuum servo on the rear heater box. if vacuum is lost then the servo defaults to heat. I recomment removing the rear left quarter trim to access the vacuum servo(servo cylindrical and a little smaller than 1/2 soup can, it has a flat metal rod sticking out). Use a vacuum pump to test the servo and see if it moves and holds vacuum. If it doesn't work them replace it. If it does work then test to see if there is vacuum at the hose that attaches to the servo (with engine running try test in both a/c and heat modes) it should have vacuum in a/c mode. If no vacuum is present then you will have to trace the vacuum line back to the heater contol head looking for splits or cracks. At the heat control head you can test to see if vacuum comes from the control head or not. I suggested starting in the rear because servo failure is rather common since it is only used seasonally.
I hope this helped. This is all based on a ford factory system. Your vehicle description says "cutaway" so if it has the ford rear system this will work. If it is not a ford system then I would need more info as to what kind of system it is.

2003 ford expedition front heat and air work, but rear puts out cold when its cold out and heat when its hot out, no matter what setting.

there are 2 blend doors in back on the passenger side rear. one controls heat settings and the other mode floor or upper vents. These go bad and there is usually a clicking noise.

2004 suburban rear a/c only blows hot air

ase mechanic:
there are separate actuators for the blend doors. one for heat and one for cool. they work opposite and in conjuction with each other, if that makes any sense. ones open, ones close, for each different climate. sounds like the the cold one isn't opening in the rear.
