2000 Chrysler 300m -- ABS and traction control light remain on

  • Anonymous Mar 15, 2014

how do i install a abs module in a chrysler 300m

  • Anonymous Apr 09, 2014

the ABS module is a component that rarely needs replacing. If the light is on the brakes will still work safely, if the RED brake warning light is on then the brakes may not be working

The ABS sensor is a speed sensor also for Traction Control. This is why both lights are on , One of your front ABS sensors are bad or disconnected, or has a pinched wire.

I HAVE A 2000 CHRYSLER 300M AND THE TRAC OFF LIGHT AND THE ABS LIGHT WONT GO OFF WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

Likely a wheel sensor failure. You would need to plug into a diagnostics scanner to see what was recorded.

Abs and tcs lights on what do they stand for?

ABS stands for anti lock brake system.
TCS stands for traction control system.

I recommend having your abs system diagnosed for faulty sensors, control module, etc. With the abs light on the traction control system is designed to disable because it utilizes the abs system to automatically help control your vehicle in loss of traction situations.

ABS light is on all the time as well as Traction Control light. Grinding occurs while driving

with traction control set up cars abs and tranction control sensors are in the wheel bearings when a wheel bearing goes out grinding will come from front wheels and will ruin abs and traction control sensors causing the malfunction. Most likely by your description this will be it.

Abs light, trac light, service engine soon light 2001 Pontiac Grand Am

Sounds like you have a bad wheel speed sensor. You need to have it scanned. Since it's been sitting, it might just be a bad connection to one of the speed sensors.

Just bought a 300M and have some questions about some features, who can help me?

Climate control is the heater/a.c. systems. Multi-Point fuel injection is the type of fuel system the car has. Vented brakes have holes in the rotors to help cool them during heavy braking. Immobilizer is the anti-theft device. Electronic traction control will transfer the power to the wheels so it doesn't slip or loose traction. ABS is Anti Lock Brake system. This is so your brakes doesn't lock up during hard braking. No. 7 is the suspension system for a good ride and cornering. Not sure about No. 8 though.
