I have a 2004 Cherokee Limited. The power windows

I have a 2004 Cherokee Limited. The power windows and power window are out. There is no power at the plug that connects to the switches on the driver side door. We can find no blown fuse. Any ideas?

Not a relay switch... check the wires inside the boot in the door. you probably have a broken wire.

Probably a relay located under the dash or on the fuse block.

I had the same problem recently. The dealership diagnosed the pblm as a corroded wire in the door frame that is responsible for all power windows and power locks locks. A simple rewiring and resoldering (approx. 150 CAD$) fixed the problem.

same thing happened to me. I was told this is common in jeeps and 90% of the time this is the solutuion. There is a rubber housing inbetween the drivers side door hinge and fuse panel with wires in it. Unhook your battery first then roll the rubber back and there will be broken wires in there. Strip the wires and reconnect them with connectors and you will be good to go. If tthe wires are broke on the drivers side panel no other windows in the jeep will work. these wires also control the mirrors.

Passener side windows will not work

sounds like you have broken wire(s)between driver's door and post..if you are missing a power or ground feed to master switch, other side will not function as well

Passenger side back window will not go back up.All of the other windows work. I have a 2004 Grand Cherokee Limited.

The most likely problem is a bad window motor. Remove the door panel and meter the switch, if power is getting to the switch and passing through the switch it is the motor. If power gets to the switch but not out the other side to the motor it is the switch.

ALL POWER WINDOWS AND LOCKS DO NOT WORK

Check all fuses in fuse panel at dash & also under hood at power distribution box, usually near battery.
