One night, while driving my 2000 E46 3-Series BMW 323i, I tried to open my sunroof, and heard an omnious loud crunch; it sounded as if my sunroof had ...
on older models you have to detach the firewall plate within the engine compartment to reach the blower motor. That's where I would start looking on the '95 model too.
Call your spouse and have them bring the spare key. If you bought a magnetic spare key holder then you can go underneath the car and remove the spare from the holder after inputting the code. If any window is cracked then get you a coat hanger and try to work the lock button to unlock the door, then just press the trunk release lever. If none of the above works, you gonna have to call a locksmith.

BMW recommends that the timing belt be changed every second
Inspection ii, or every 4 years on cars that have low mileage. Most of
the rest of the industry has timing belt changing intervals ranging
from 40,000 miles to 60,000 miles. It is better to change the belt at a
lower mileage than at a higher number. The timing belt must be
replaced every time the belt tensioner is loosened. Do not reinstall a
used belt. Reusing a timing belt, even one with low mileage, is not
worth the chance of having a belt break and damaging the engine.
just a thought is the radio a kenwood if it is ther is yor problam . bmw dashes get verry hot and kenwoods dont like the heat i have had this problem more than once
hi Colin I had the problem on my 95 M3 Convertible. The 2 horns are located at the front behind the kidney shaped grills. First off check the fuse if its ok then,
Unplug the electrical conector and press the horn on the steering wheel. If you hear a click from the relay thats great, if it still don't work they are useless and need to be replaced. You will need 2 aftermarket ones high and low tone. It will be worth it checking the supply to the existing horns at some point, just connect the car horn to the battery via cable if the horn is ok it will sound. By doing these simple steps you should eliminate the fault. Cheers Hope this helps English John
