2001 focus LR latch wont let door open. no child locks .outside handle limp inside handle sound like latch is being pulled how can i get the door open?

It would seem there is nothing else to do other than remove the door panel with the door closed. Removing the seat is likely to be necessary.
Not always possible to remove the door card without damage.

Both handle's wont open and the door is closed

Sounds like the linkage was hooked up incorectly. use a slim jim or cut panel off and fix linkage and replace panle.

2001 BMW X5 Unlocked driver door wont open from inside or outside

handles may be in good condition but the lever on the latch itself may have came loose. your mostlikley looking at dismantelling the apolsery with the door closed to rectify it.

Drivers side door wont stay shut in my 97 jetta

lube the latch up...
go to the passengers side and examine the latch... you could use a screwdriver and OPEN the latch on the drivers' door by pulling the door handle and prying the latch to the open possition... and try to close it ... repeate.

2006 dodge Grand Caravan power door wont open automatically, makes clicking sound.

These automatic side doors are extremely complicated and require a trained technician to repair wit the factory repair guides to go by, there are many adjustments to be made and sometimes that is all they need plus some cleaning and lubrication of the latch and moving parts. My best advice is let the dealer fix this.

Driver Side Door wont open from inside or outside. also passenger side door wont close! Help

On the passenger door,make sure the latch isn't in the closed position(have someone pull on the handle while pulling the latch mechanism with a screwdriver)The drivers side is gonna be interesting.You might be able to get at the door latch mechanism by rolling the window all the way down,and use a coathanger or similar tool to operate the linkage levers that way.

My 2001 acura mdx driver side door won't close

THE DOOR CATCH HAS A DOUBLE "C" THAT HOLDS THE DOOR CLOSED. FIRST TAKE A SCREWDRIVER INSIDE THE "C". USING THE HANDLE ON THE INSIDE, PULL THE HANDLE AS IF YOU WERE OPENING THE DOOR AND AT THE SAME TIME, OPEN THE DOUBLE "C" WITH THE SCREWDRIVER. I HOPE THIS HELPS. THANKS FOR USING FIX-YA. My door handle wont open my door on the drivers side. I have to roll down my window to open the door from the outside latch. Is it repairable, or do I have to replace any parts?

I have shaved door handles on a 2000 chevy silverado and the drivers side door just recently stopped opening it seems like its completely locked out and the door is closed so i cannot get to the bolts of the latch assembly when i hit the unlock button it unlocks half way and when you go to open the door it relocks itself even if you manually try to unlock the door and hold the lock forward it still wont open

The door lock mechanism has a broken spring internally .door lock has to be replaced.

Yep.. spray some wd 40 in the latch plate in the door and flip the latch mechanism outwards with a screw driver your latch assmbly is just dry and need lubricant
