My 91 lexus ls400 stopped firing up. It turns over but no go.

I believe that they are interchangeable up until 1997.

Have you checked fuses? Test them, don't rely on being able to see they're blown as they'll sometimes have a fine crack that's hard to see.

MAP sensors are not cleanable, MAF sensors are.

Sounds like a thermostat problem replace it

if you don't have the correct code then you need to take it to Lexus and let them do it. It should only be around 50-100 dollars for unlocking and new code...or just buy a new system

this is a computer problem. 91-96 lexus ls400 are known for having their computers go out on them. I would have never believed it but my ls400 did the same thing. I sent the computer to Auto Computer Exchange in Davie FL. They reprogramed it for $310 sent it back to me in a day. It fixed the car. I have had no problems out of the car. I now work on ls400 on the side to fix the same problem for other people.
