I need code for 2000 mitsubishi montero sport radio i changed battery and now the radio is asking for a code, no one keep the code that came with the vehicle. the numbers i got off the radio are, mu 900358, mr 482503, a9721210 mr 490089, and 97084464a, 34u0068 sure would like to hear my radioi again thanx guy

I have montero sport 2000 also. If you call your local mitsubishi dealer and give them your vin number on your rig they will be able to give you codes to punch into probbably your stereo that will reset a factory alarm. good luck...

unlock codes for the radio are vehical or radio specific. call around and see what dealer will unlock the radio the cheepest. its the slow time of year for dealerships so try to get a deal.maybe tell them you have been looking for a place to service your car and like to keep them in good shape. they might even do it for free if they think you will spend money down the line.

If the radio reset code was not written down in the owner's manual as it is supposed to be, the best thing is to have it reset to a new code, that they can tell you for free. It can be done by anyone selling that brand of radio, and is not Mitsubishi specific.

the numbers for your radio stations are what you set the code with. 1st # is put in using first button 2nd # second button and on like this with all four station buttons then push th the button above to reset. make sure to watch at the dealer.

Pull out the radio far enough to see the serial number and model number. Take that and the registration to the dealer who will give you the code you need.
