5 SERIES NO SPARK 90 BMW - 1990 BMW 5 Series

You do not say what design 3 series; but for E36 with electric seat adjustment, Odometer Gears (link below), makes replacement gears for the electric seats for approximately $40 each. This is the part that typically wears/breaks for seat reclining.

Gauge cluster problems are one of the toughest nuts to crack on an e36 BMW.

Specifically i dont see a reason why you cannot, the boost in amperage is not great enough to cause a red flag, but i would DEF call BMW and ask to be safe.

Access the fuse panel in the glove box by turning the nylon retaining clips inward 90 degrees until the panel drops down.

I presume you want torque setting. If so here is

BMW 6 cylinder engine
According to my manual as follows:

cyl head to engine block
stage 1 30nm(22ft-lb)
stage 2 + 90 degrees
stage 3 + 90 degrees

cyl head to lower timing chain cover 10nm (89in - lb)

Loosening sequence is from oustside to inside crossover and tightning from inside to outside.

What about your coil packs are they working? it can always be a cam sensor or crank sensor

my self i would put the synthetic version for ultime
protection

could be the coil.... or if it has one the coil pack could be faulty....if theirs no spark,,,,,,thats what gives the spark...........

Go to the nearest autozone parts store and they will assist you for free as long as you purchase the spark plug from them.
