Often lights under a dash or indicators just blow out bulbs. If more than one thing isn't lighting and are centralized check fuses to see if its blown. Bulb or fuse. IMHO. MIGHT be a sensor on tranny too. Hope not.
Here's a video with detaile dinstrauctions and other people's fuse questions. New fuses?
Yes,the axle has to come out.Which means the rear end cover has to be removed. If your not familiar with this process you should not attempt it on your own or you could end up with bigger head aches.Hope this heaps.Good luck.
Loose or damaged Wheel-Bearing causing other parts to rub together, like the brake components or your wheels are too big or shocks weak, or exhaust hanging and are rubbing against something. Perhaps oil is leaking from your rear axle housing dut to bad seals (check inner of wheels) and around axle housing - remove plug and check that your finger can reach in and touch it. Could be a sign of rear end failure or simply the backing plates on the brakes behind the rotors and the drums (steel disk) sometimes rust on the drums can grind against the backing plates if they are weak or warped (clean this area).
You have a faulty speed sensor. It is located it at the rear left of the transmission. If it is a four wheel drive, it is located at the tailshaft of the transfercase.
the squeak could be brakes or wheel hub/bearing. most likely it is the bearing and hub assembly, i would not drive it , take it to you local service station and have then replace or repair the hub assy.
