I have a 1.8 1999 VW Passat , there is no power in the fuel pump and I need to know the location for the fuel pump and the numbr of it

It's in the boot area or loadspace to some, under the carpet on the side of the fuel filler.Just remove the 3 screws that release a round plate and the pump is in the housing under that, be very carefull with petrol vapours as they can ignite.Removal is just a twist and turn to left if i remember but it's a tight fit and requires patients.
