My 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse won't start up. It turns over but wont go. The guy i bought it from said he thought it was a cam shaft sensor so im wondering if thats the problem or if there is more.
Check the fuel system to make sure it's getting gas. Take the back seat out and turn the ignition on without cranking the car. You should hear the fuel pump make noise for a few seconds as it pressurizes the system and then turns off. If you don't hear anything, it would probably be the pump or one of the two relays on the firewall next to the master cylinder.
