They are on separate circuits. It's probably your body ground from the battery or a fusible link at the starter.

No dashboard light and rear light on Nissan cabster 1.5tonne truck

If your Nissan Cabster 1.5 tonne truck is experiencing no dashboard lights and rear lights, there are a few potential causes for this issue:
  1. Blown fuses: The dashboard and rear lights are connected to separate fuses. A blown fuse could cause one or both of these lights to stop working. Check the fuse box and replace any blown fuses.
  2. Wiring issue: A wiring problem such as a broken wire or loose connection may prevent power from reaching the lights.
  3. Switch problem: The problem could be the switch controlling the lights. The switch may be worn out or malfunctioning, preventing the lights from turning on.
  4. Bulb problem: The dashboard and rear lights are controlled by separate bulbs. One or both of the bulbs may be burned out or damaged.
  5. Electrical module problem: Some vehicles have an electrical module that controls the lights; if the module is faulty, it can cause the lights not to work.
It's best to have a professional technician diagnose the issue. They will be able to identify the specific cause of the problem and make the necessary repairs. It's also important to check the owner's manual for troubleshooting options or error codes that might be displayed on the dashboard.
It's also important to note that the lack of dashboard and rear lights can affect the safety of the vehicle and the driver; thus, it is vital to have it fixed as soon as possible.

Dashboard lights and tail lights don't work 95 toyota corolla

The circuits are on two different fuses, but both are controlled by the headlight switch. I would check for power at those fuses then at the switch.

How can I figure out why fuse 15A keeps blowing? My dashboard lights don't work nor do the back lights. My breaks and signals work but at night when I turn the car on the regular lights in the back...

There is a shorted wire somewhere in that circuit. Check to see if any wires are pinched under a bracket or brace where he was working. I have seen it where it was a light bulb the was bad. Need someone familiar with a volt/ohm meter to help trace problem. Good Luck. You did not state where he had been working.

Dashboard lights are out and rear lights, also a pulling sensation when changing gears especially and a horrible sort of screeching noise when I start the engine!!

You aren't alone with your lights problem . Mu '59 Picanto did exactly the same thing last night. No dashboard, heater, or air vent illumination and worse still no rear lights (note brake lights do work). Got home switched off everything, then switched back on and all working. Very strange.

The dash lights are not working and the left rear

check the main fuse box under the hood, also check that the left front turn signal to see if the bulb is blown, sometimes when only one bulb is working it can cause it to flash much quicker, also check all the wiring there could be a short circuit somewhere ,this can also cause this problem.....hope this helps.....cheers

I can`t find the fuse for the dashboard lights on my 2000 jetta.

First, make sure it's not that your dimmer switch has been turned all the way down.
Check fuse 22 and 23. If they're good then you may have a bad ground somewhere. Check the board and fuse box under the battery (yes, I know - but thats where vw located it) for corrosion.

No dashboard/odometer lights and no rear lights

just go to the fuse box in the engine compartment and look for the (red 1Oamp) tail light fuse... it might be broken just replace and that should solve your problem.
