Code p1168 nissan armada 2004

closed loop control fault; when a vehicle is in closed loop, the comuter reads the O2 sensors and regulates the fuel supply accordingly in order to maintain a 14.7 to 1 ratio of air to fuel. if the sensor does not respond as expected, this code sets. it does not mean it is a bad sensor, it requires diagnosis

Where is p1148 sersor loced at on nissan armada 2004

P1148 closed loop control,, this means the computer does not see closed loop , the problem could be a bad air fuel sensor also called oxygen sensor this is the top one before the converter, check the wiring to sensor and connection if that is good then replace the sensor, this sensor on this nissan is called an air /fuel sensor and are costly. good day

2004 armada po430 cel

Code 430 is telling you that the computer thinks the catalytic converter on bank 2 is not working. The computer takes the O2 sensor readings before and after the cat and compares the two. The O2 sensor should be quiet with lower oxygen readings than the one in front of the cat.
It could be right, or one of the O2 sensors could be failing, or that exhaust could have problems before the sensor, such as a bad injector or air leak.
Get it checked out before you cook a cat converter.

1999 cougar diagnostic code p0430 and p0420

Failed or faulty oxygen sensor, or faulty catalytic converter. It's actually the oxygen sensor reading that the catalytic converter is not functioning properly & needs relacement. That's provided the oxygen sensor is not faulty, which personally, I'd go for that first.
Both would explain excessive fuel usage.
