Hello pshep03: My name is Roger and I will help you. There are several things you can look at First is to remove the radiator cap fill radiator. Start the engine with the cap off. Should the engine blow the coolant out immediately on start up. Then the possibility is good the head gasket is blown between the compression area and coolant passage. You could also have a head gasket blown between. cylinders. To check this you need to remove the spark plugs. Using a compression tester. Check the compression in all cylinders. Should two cylinders next to each other have less then 100 lbs. compression. Could be down around 30 to 50 lbs. Then the gasket is likely blown between these two cylinders. The only true way to tell is to remove the head for a through inspection of the head and the gasket.

Do a chemical block test,
check compression.
have a smog machine sniff your coolant for any HC'cs that may of got in thru a headgasket.
look at the coolant for that milk look..
pull all the plugs out. the shiney one will be the problem area.
As the car is heating up with the radiator cap off check to see if the cylinder pressure is causing bubbles or pushing the water out.

Other than a compression check, a real simple way is to spray around the edges with a bottle of soapy water. Do this on a cold engine so that water doesn't evaporate right away.
