You may have a worn or loose belt....if not it may be your waterpump squealing...your belts turn the pump...check and see if you have coolant dripping from under the front of the engine..thanks

If the squealing is coming from under the hood while the engine in running then it could be a number of things such as an idler bearing, water pump bearing, or possibly an air conditioner or alternator bearing. Other possibilities are belts that are worn or have gotten wed from a bad water pump or have loosened up because of a bad belt tensioner. Take a long bar and touch each area that seems to be making the noise. If you can feel the vibration or hear the squeal when you touch the area, then you found your noise.
To resolve the squealing noise two things come to mind. Take an old bar of soap and hold it in a SAFE area with the belt turning which acts like a lubricant without the grease. If the belt is cracked the soap will fill in the areas and reduce or eliminate the noise. If that does not fix it you may have a loose or cracked pulley.
Try to tighten the belts a little firm.Sounds like when engine idling no squelling only when about to take off .Some times belts may seem ok on the outside but if you look on inner side you tend to see cracks in the belts .
It may be a slipping belt. Spray a mist of WATER on each belt and see if the sound changes. Belt may be loose or one of the belt driven devices locking up.
Tensioners should be replaced about every 80 thousand km when u let of the gas it relieves tension on belt tensioner if the spring inside is wearing out chances are there's ur squealing sound would sound like a belt squeal not a bearing
A moving component had come loose, or broken up. If the engine is still running, then its an accessory component, like the belts or components that runs off the belts. For example, these components that are belt driven have bearings. Its possible the bearings are worn out on the AC condenser or alternator. If the noise stops when the vehicle is parked (engine idling), and resumes when you drive, its a worn drivetrain component. Worse-case scenario, one valve spring lift rod had snapped, but this only happens if you had raced (over-tached) the engine.
i would suspect one of the idler pulleys, alternator bearings, water pump baring, you can isolate the location of the sound by using a short piece of hose, hold one end at your ear and with the engine running and the squealing noise evident carefully aim the other end of the hose at the deferment pulley locations, as you get closer to the noise source you will hear a marketable rise in noise you hear through the hose, careful not to get the hose caught up in the belt
