1995 dodge dakota xcab, 3.9 ltr v6. no power to tail lights/running lights or license plate light. brake lights and signals which are seperate bulbs work fine. any ideas?
Check the fuse with a test light on both sides of the fuse,
next would be the headlight switch.
The wire is cut off or the wires has blown the fuse
So yes on the seat ur likely right on the shaft. I don't see it turn at all when motor is. As far as fuses; done. Not anything I.e.cluster re. Hvac etc... Switch for headlights does have some sort of glitch it flicks on the way from left to right or off to on somewhere fore a fraction of a sec. Also, low beams do seem low, low. Kinda of weird. Hi beams are more like reg.
Bulbs all good. Neon ballast when plugged into light bar blows the 15amp fuse on driver f block. Slight smell of the smell no one want to smell ; warming plastic shielding over wires cry faint but I know how cry fast that can change so unplugged and replaced fuse. That affected the rest of the indicators etc...that do work! But yes license plate, tail & side marker kites , plus? Are on same. Ground 57 blk & the infamous pages 92-1 , 92-12 & a few others. I can't find the page 92 they mean! Lamo. I think in Chilton but no in the library stuff I had access to. Still a deeper issue it seems than bulbs & fuses like was represented to me when I was con's into this BS. Thanks tho ur a help. Any other ideas or recommendations let me know please. Mo

I should have stated that there are no blown fuses. The circut that the plate light and rear running light are on is also the circut for the dash panel, radio light and clock. These all function properly
fuse for running lights is first thing to check
