If you can not see the 3 spark plugs from on top with your own eyes that you might have to use ramps underneath the front tires and go underneath the car to see if you can get to them this way. In some vehicles like my daewoo car has a plastic cover that I had to first take off so you can retrace the spark wires from the coil to the spark plugs so use a flashlight to see. If you are replacing to make sure if your vehicle has the right spark plugs and are gapped to your cars specs before replacing them.
try putting the original parts back on one at a time ,till it starts ,then have it diagnosed correctly by a diagnostic technician who will check the electrics over and find whats wrong
for the 1.5L -1.6L- 2.2L and 2.3L ENGINES. from left to right engine cylinders is 4 3 2 1 .now at distributor cap .get a piece of paper draw a big circle now at top of circle from left to right will be 2 then 1 from bottom of circle left to right will be 4 then 3.thats where you will put your plug wires.now the circle you draw 2 upper left of circle 1 upper right.at bottom circle 4 lower left of circle and 3 at lower right.
The spark plugs wont make the light come on,but you could of caused a misfire if you didnt put the wire back correcttly to the right ports on the coil.Sometimes the coils are marked for which cyl. they belong to.
