Check fuel pressure to make sure the system is maintaining pressure. If pressure is falling off quickly during this episode the check valve in the pump is bad.Check fuel pressure to make sure the system is maintaining pressure. Just a thought! There is a provision where when fuel pressure drops the ignition is shut off. This is to prevent pumping when the fuel line is compromised. Monitor fuel pressure to see if it drops during normal operation.
I have a 93 dodge dakota pick up. When I turn the key I get nothing, The radio and the lights work fine. I had starter checked and the battery changed, It will run if you push it to start but not with the key.
first you need to find out whats missing when it cuts off check to see if you have spark at plugs if you do check to see if you are getting fuel with out either it will not run sounds as if something is getting hot and shutting down ie the 15mins of running before cutting off find which one you are losing and repost i will help direct you depending on your findings
Not knowing your truck, I'm not sure what Dodge calls it but there is a device that monitors the ambient temperature and sets the fuel-air ratio accordingly.
The "Idle air control" can be used for this in some makes. If this or some part of it has failed, the mix is probably not getting enriched enough to ensure reliable cold starting.
