1st make sure the coolant level is ok. A low level can cause a little or no heat problem. Is the engine warming up to the 'normal' range on the temp gauge in about 10 minutes? If it is, then yes, your thermostat is ok. If it is not warming up, but staying in the cold range on the temp gauge, the thermostat should be replaced, as it may be stuck in the open position, not allowing the engine to completely warm up. Next, it could be the heater core, if it is plugged up with rust and sediment. This would prevent circulation of hot coolant, and result in little or no heat. A leaking hose would be obvious due to the coolant level dropping, and evidence of a leak under the car, but this alone would not result in little or no heat, unless it was due to a low level, as mentioned earlier.
It could be the cold air blend door or the thermostat is the engine temp up to the middle of the gauge or close to it if so then thermostat is ok if not then go ahead and replace it.
My car suddenly only blows cold air coolant level good engine warms to normal running temp everything seems to be working normal just no warm air
